It's difficult to pigeon-hole Sean Donahue: Singer, songwriter, musician, and performer. An unusual blend of country, blues, rock, rock-a-billy, and folk, this blend of attributes is often categorized as
"Americana".

Having performed well over 1,000 live shows, he's as comfortable on stage as he is in his living room.

A professional musician since 1987, he's released his second studio album "Homemade Sin".

Recorded over a period of five months at a Memphis studio, it is truly a mix of his of his ever-changing taste in music, even venturing into a classical mode during "Treasure". Other offerings from his new CD definitely highlight his unique approach to music: "It's all good. Do I have to play one style and stick to that?". "Plastic Cowboy" even allows his listening audience to bust into a boot-stomping two-step. The CD starts with "Go Out", an apparent ode to a night out-on-the-town.

A seemingly jack-of-all-trades, he plays various instruments on this CD: a variety of guitars, bass, harmonica, keyboard, and a cameo appearance by his grade-school instrument, the saxophone. Live, he mainly sticks to guitars, but has been known to throw-in the other instruments he seems to play well.
